More than likely in your career, you will shoot a scene that takes place in a car, or next to a road, or even right in the middle of a road, street or highway.  In this module we will look at hazards associated with roads, and moving vehicles, discuss laws and regulations that govern activities in public roadways as well as permits and traffic control.  We’ll touch on safety guidelines for operating other types of vehicles that are sometimes used on film production, and finally, we will look at alternative ways to shoot car scenes that do not involve driving shots.

aesthetic and storytelling aspects of editing.
